REP PROGRAM

We are excited to announce that the Westside Outlaws will be offering both U13 and U15 Rep programs for the 2026/2027 season!

This announcement comes on the heels of an incredible accomplishment—our U13 Rep team captured the Provincial Championship this past weekend and is now headed to the Western Canadian Championships in Saskatchewan. We couldn't be prouder of what this program has achieved, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the coaches, volunteers, families, and supporters who have helped make it such a success.

As we continue to grow our Rep program, we are looking for dedicated coaches who are passionate about developing athletes, advancing their skills, and helping them reach their full potential.

Rep-level coaching requires a strong commitment, relevant coaching experience, and a willingness to complete the certifications required to participate in championship-level competition.

• Application Deadline: July 25
• Interviews: July 28–31
• Head Coach Selection: August 1

The 2026 Coaching Committee will review all applications based on the following:

• Commitment to completing all required NCCP courses by December 31
• Coaching philosophy
• Softball coaching experience
• Additional coaching or leadership experience
• Previous involvement and volunteer history with Westside Minor Fastball, including feedback from past surveys

Please ensure you have a current Criminal Record Check on file with WMFA. All assistant coaches are also subject to approval by the Coaching Committee.

Player tryout registration for the U13 and U15 Rep teams will open at the beginning of August. Additional details, including tryout dates and registration information, will be shared with members as soon as they are available.

October to March - weekly practices
April to July - practices, games, and tournaments

WMFA is excited to once again run a U11 & U13 Select program for the 2026 Spring

This program gives U11 and U13 players an opportunity to participate in an additional competitive level development program, complementary to what is offered at the U11C and U13C level. Selected players will play on the Select team in addition to playing on their community team.  

Players must be able to commit to the tournament dates to play on the Select team.
